Why is 30% off then 20% off not 50% off?
Because the second discount applies to the already-reduced price. 100 less 30% is 70, and 70 less 20% is 56 — an effective discount of 44%, not 50%. The Discount mode shows the effective figure whenever you stack two discounts.
What is the difference between margin and markup?
Margin is profit as a share of the selling price; markup is profit as a share of the cost. An item costing 60 that sells for 100 has a 40% margin but a 66.67% markup. Margin mode shows both.
Where is my saved history?
Tap the clock icon in the top right. Saved calculations are stored on your device only. Clearing them, or deleting the app, removes them permanently.
Can I change how many decimal places are shown?
Yes — Settings (the gear icon) lets you choose 2, 3 or 4.
Does the app work offline?
Always. It makes no network connections at all.
